Manufacturing Engineer

About the Role

3M is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to drive process improvement and production excellence at one of its advanced manufacturing plants. You will apply engineering principles to reduce waste, increase throughput, and ensure product quality across a high-mix production line.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes using Lean and Six Sigma tools
• Design and validate new tooling, fixtures, and production equipment
• Investigate quality defects and implement corrective/preventive actions
• Support new product introduction (NPI) from design review through ramp
• Collaborate with R&D, quality, and supply chain teams on process changes

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering
• 2+ years of manufacturing or process engineering experience
• Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
• Proficiency with CAD tools and statistical process control methods
