CDL Class A Driver - Freight

About the Role

FedEx Freight is hiring a CDL Class A Driver for regional linehaul routes. You will transport commercial freight between FedEx service centers safely and efficiently, returning home at the end of every shift cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Class A tractor-trailer on assigned linehaul or P&D routes
• Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain accurate ELD logs in full compliance with FMCSA HOS rules
• Load, unload, and secure freight using proper equipment and techniques
• Communicate professionally with dispatch and service center staff

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A with a clean MVR
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
• Must pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
• Hazmat endorsement preferred but not required
