Key Responsibilities
- Write well-researched blog articles, website content, product descriptions, and social media copy as per daily assignments
- Follow client-specific content briefs covering topic, audience, tone, keywords, and word count requirements exactly
- Ensure all submitted content is original, plagiarism-free, grammatically correct, and engaging
- Optimise content for basic SEO by incorporating keywords naturally and structuring articles with clear headings and subheadings
- Submit work on agreed deadlines and communicate proactively when more time or clarification is needed
- Incorporate editorial feedback and revise content to improve quality, accuracy, and SEO performance
- Build expertise in assigned niches over time to increase writing speed, authority, and per-article rate
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any stream; strong written English is the primary requirement
- Ability to write fluently on general topics; specialist knowledge in any niche is a bonus
- Good research skills using the internet to gather accurate and credible information
- Understanding of basic SEO concepts and content formatting for digital platforms
- Reliable internet connection and availability to meet daily or weekly word count targets
- Writing samples or a portfolio will be required during the hiring process
