About This Role
EduFirst India is hiring Online Tutors based in Bangalore for remote teaching roles across K–12 subjects and competitive exam coaching. You will deliver live video sessions, create study materials, and track student progress — all from your Bangalore home office. This role is ideal for teachers, graduates, and subject-matter experts who want a flexible, home-based teaching career with a reputed edtech company.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach live one-on-one and group online sessions in your subject area (Mathematics, Science, English, Commerce, or competitive exam subjects)
- Plan lessons, create practice worksheets, and prepare session notes aligned to student learning goals and board curriculum
- Assess student performance through periodic tests, assignments, and live session observation
- Provide detailed progress reports to students and parents at regular intervals
- Respond to student doubts via the platform's chat and scheduled doubt-clearing sessions
- Upload pre-recorded video lessons, notes, and resource material to the EduFirst LMS as required
- Attend monthly tutor review meetings and academic update sessions conducted online
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in the subject you wish to teach
- Strong subject knowledge with the ability to explain concepts at multiple difficulty levels
- Comfortable with Zoom, Google Meet, and digital whiteboard tools
- Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet workspace in Bangalore
- Prior tutoring, coaching, or teaching experience is preferred
- B.Ed. or other teaching qualifications are an advantage
