About This Role

TechForge India is hiring a Site Engineer for its Delhi infrastructure project team to manage civil construction activities on road, drainage, and public works projects across the National Capital Region. B.E. Civil Engineering graduates with 1–3 years of field site execution experience on infrastructure or civil works projects are encouraged to apply. This is an outdoor, field-intensive role requiring daily site presence, subcontractor supervision, and project progress tracking across active construction sites.

Role Context

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be the primary engineering presence on one or two active infrastructure sites in Delhi NCR. The role involves supervising earthwork, pavement, drainage, and utility installation activities, verifying work quality against drawings and specifications, coordinating material logistics, and preparing progress documentation for the project manager's weekly reports to the client authority.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily civil works activities including earthwork, sub-base, pavement, and drainage construction
• Set out construction alignments and levels using total station and dumpy level instruments as required
• Verify that construction materials including aggregates, bitumen, and concrete meet approved specifications
• Coordinate subcontractor daily work allocation and resolve execution conflicts at the site level
• Prepare daily progress reports, material consumption records, and measurement books for contract billing
• Monitor work quality and issue non-conformance notices to subcontractors for out-of-specification work
• Ensure all workers on site follow PPE requirements and safety protocols without exception
• Support the Project Manager in preparing monthly progress certifications and client submission documents

Requirements & Skills

• B.E. in Civil Engineering with 1–3 years of infrastructure or road construction site experience
• Ability to read and implement civil engineering drawings including road alignment, cross-sections, and drainage plans
• Working knowledge of IRC codes for road construction, pavement design, and drainage systems
• Practical skills in construction surveying including total station operation and level setting
• Measurement and documentation experience for BoQ-based contract billing support
• Comfortable working full-time outdoors on active Delhi NCR construction sites in all weather conditions
• AutoCAD proficiency for site drawing review and minor layout marking work

• Monthly salary of ₹22,000–₹42,000 based on site experience and infrastructure project exposure
