About This Role

BuildCore India is hiring a Civil Engineer for its Bangalore project delivery team. The company executes residential apartment projects and commercial construction for real estate developers across Bangalore, and this role involves site execution, quality monitoring, contractor coordination, and progress reporting on active construction sites. B.E. Civil Engineering graduates with 1–4 years of field experience in building construction are invited to apply for this full-time onsite position.

Role Context

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be assigned to one or two active construction sites in Bangalore managing day-to-day execution activities. The role requires daily site presence — you will supervise subcontractor work, monitor concrete pours, check reinforcement layouts against structural drawings, coordinate material deliveries, and prepare daily progress reports. You will interact regularly with the structural consultant, MEP teams, and the client's project coordinator to resolve technical issues without delaying the construction program.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise structural, masonry, and finishing construction activities at assigned Bangalore project sites
Verify reinforcement layouts and shuttering setups against structural drawings before concrete pours
Monitor material quality at site including concrete cube testing, rebar checks, and waterproofing inspections
Coordinate with subcontractors on daily work schedules and resolve on-site execution conflicts
Prepare daily progress reports, material consumption records, and site safety inspection logs
Review and mark up construction drawings identifying site discrepancies for consultant clarification
Monitor concrete work including curing schedules, slump tests, and compressive strength records
Ensure all on-site workers comply with PPE requirements and site safety protocols at all times

Requirements & Skills

B.E. or B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized university
1–4 years of building construction site experience; residential or commercial projects preferred
Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural construction drawings accurately
Practical knowledge of RCC construction, reinforcement detailing, and concrete quality testing
Familiarity with construction material specifications, mix designs, and quality acceptance criteria
Proficiency in AutoCAD for drawing review and basic site marking work
Comfortable working full-time on active construction sites across Bangalore with site rotation
