About This Role

MarketMint India is hiring a Content Writer for its Mumbai team to produce blog articles, website copy, social media content, and email marketing text for lifestyle and consumer brand clients. This is a full-time writing role that requires consistent output quality across different brand tones and content formats. Strong research habits, clean grammar, and the ability to write for both SEO and human readers simultaneously are the core requirements for this position.

Role Context

You will report to the Content Marketing Manager and contribute to content calendars across four to six client accounts. Daily work involves researching topics, writing 800–1,500 word blog posts, drafting social captions, and editing content based on reviewer feedback. Each client has a distinct tone guide, and you will be expected to shift between a formal B2B voice and a casual D2C brand voice within the same working day. Consistency across both is the standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Write SEO-optimized blog articles of 800–1,500 words on assigned topics with keyword integration
• Produce website copy including service pages, about sections, and landing page text for client approval
• Write social media captions for Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook aligned to each brand's tone guide
• Draft email campaign copy including subject lines, body text, and CTAs for monthly client campaigns
• Research topics thoroughly using credible sources and integrate factual data into written content
• Incorporate SEO feedback from the SEO specialist including keyword targets, heading structure, and meta descriptions
• Revise content based on client and reviewer feedback within the agreed revision cycle timeline
• Maintain a consistent publishing pace — two to four pieces of long-form content per week is the standard output

Requirements & Skills

• 1–3 years of professional content writing experience for brands, agencies, or publications
• Strong English writing skills with clean grammar, varied sentence structure, and clear arguments
• Ability to write in multiple brand tones — formal B2B, conversational D2C, and informational blog styles
• Basic understanding of SEO content principles including keyword integration and heading hierarchy
• Comfortable researching unfamiliar topics and producing accurate, well-sourced written content
• Proficiency with Google Docs and familiarity with content management systems for publishing
• Ability to receive and apply editorial feedback without taking it personally or arguing defensively
