Role Context

FramePro USA works as a framing subcontractor for several of the largest homebuilders and custom home builders in the Denver metro area. Active projects include subdivisions in Arvada, Aurora, and Thornton as well as custom homes in the foothills west of Denver. Framing crews operate under experienced lead carpenters and project superintendents who assign daily tasks and maintain production schedules. Key Responsibilities

• Frame exterior and interior walls including plate layout, stud installation, corner assembly, and header construction from blueprints.
• Install floor joist systems, rim boards, blocking, and engineered lumber beams in accordance with structural drawings and specifications.
• Frame roof structures including common rafters, hip and valley systems, ridge boards, and blocking for standard and complex roof profiles.
• Cut and install stair stringers, treads, risers, and handrail blocking for interior and exterior staircase assemblies on residential projects.
• Install window and door rough openings with proper headers, king studs, jack studs, and cripple stud assemblies per plan requirements.
• Read and interpret full sets of architectural and structural blueprints to execute framing layouts accurately without constant supervision.
• Operate standard framing power tools including circular saws, nail guns, reciprocating saws, and power drills safely and proficiently.
• Coordinate with concrete, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC subcontractors to accommodate rough-in penetrations and utility pathways in framing.
• Ensure work complies with applicable Colorado residential building codes and passes all required framing inspections on the first review.

Requirements & Skills

• Journeyman-level carpentry experience with a minimum of three years in residential wood frame construction required for this position.
• Proficiency in all phases of residential framing including floor systems, wall framing, roof framing, and stair construction.
• Ability to read full sets of architectural and structural blueprints and translate them into accurate, quality field work independently.
• Safe and skilled operation of all standard framing power tools and pneumatic nail guns in a fast-paced production environment.
• Physical ability to lift lumber and materials weighing up to 100 pounds, work at heights on scaffolding, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Valid Colorado driver licence or reliable personal transportation to reach job sites throughout the Denver metro area daily.
• OSHA 10 construction safety certification required; OSHA 30 preferred and candidates holding it will receive priority consideration.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and team communication skills to support daily production targets and maintain crew efficiency.
