Key Responsibilities

• Load outbound delivery vehicles — scan and stack packages by stop sequence
• Unload inbound trailers and place packages on the correct sort belt
• Sort packages on conveyor belts by zip code or destination label
• Scan every package for tracking accuracy
• Handle packages safely — correct lifting techniques are trained and enforced
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment on the sort aisle

Requirements

• 18 years or older (some states allow 17 with parental consent)
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Able to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs
• Able to stand, bend, and carry for 3.5–5 hours continuously
• Available for a consistent part-time shift 5 days per week
• No experience required — UPS trains all new hires on their first day
