About This Role

Amazon is hiring full-time Warehouse Associates at its fulfillment centers across the United States. This is a high-energy, physically active role at the heart of Amazon's delivery operation. As a Warehouse Associate you are part of the team that ensures millions of customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped on time. No experience is needed — Amazon provides full on-the-job training and a structured ramp-up plan for all new associates.

Role Context

Amazon fulfillment centers are large, organized facilities with clearly marked work zones. Associates are assigned to one of four main functions: Receive (inbound inventory), Pick (pulling items from shelves), Pack (boxing and labeling), or Ship (loading onto delivery vehicles). You rotate between functions based on daily assignment. Each zone has a team lead and an area manager available on the floor at all times. Safety is Amazon's top priority — all associates complete mandatory safety training on day one before touching any inventory.

Key Responsibilities

Receive and stow incoming inventory to designated shelf locations using a scanner
Pick customer orders from assigned zones guided by a handheld device
Pack items securely in the correct box size using Amazon's packaging standards
Scan and sort packed shipments by carrier and delivery route
Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
Report any damaged inventory, equipment issues, or safety hazards to your team lead

Requirements

18 years or older
Authorized to work in the United States
Able to stand, walk, push, and lift for up to 10–12 hours per shift
Able to lift packages weighing up to 49 lbs
Willing to work day, evening, or overnight shifts as assigned
Reliable — consistent attendance is critical in a team-based operation

Pay and Benefits

Starting pay: $15 – $19/hr depending on location (approx $2,400 – $3,040/month)
