About This Role

Amazon is hiring Warehouse Workers for its evening shift at fulfillment and delivery centers across the United States. If daytime hours do not work for you, the evening shift is an excellent option — it runs from 4 PM to midnight or 6 PM to 2 AM depending on location, pays a shift differential on top of the base rate, and keeps your mornings free. Role Context

Amazon's fulfillment centers process tens of thousands of customer orders every evening, preparing next-day deliveries. Evening shift workers handle the critical outbound surge — picking orders from shelves, packing them to Amazon's standards, and loading them onto delivery vehicles. The pace is high but structured — each station has a clearly defined workflow, a team lead on the floor, and productivity targets displayed on overhead screens. Water stations and break rooms are available throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders from shelf locations using a handheld scanner guided by the warehouse management system
• Pack orders in the correct box size using Amazon's packaging guidelines
• Load packed shipments onto conveyor belts and sort by delivery zone
• Maintain your work area — clear cardboard, restock packing materials, report hazards
• Meet hourly productivity targets displayed on station screens
• Follow all safety rules: lifting technique, PPE, traffic lane protocols

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Able to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per shift
• Able to lift and move packages up to 49 lbs
• Available for evening shift consistently — 4 PM–midnight or 6 PM–2 AM (location-dependent)
• Reliable attendance required

Pay and Benefits
