About This Role

Byju's (Think & Learn Pvt. Ltd.) — India's largest EdTech company — is hiring fresh graduates as Freelance Video Editors within its Content Production and Marketing teams. You will produce educational instructional video, product marketing content, and social media material for Byju's Learning App — the world's most downloaded education app with 150 million+ learners across India and international markets.

Role Context

Byju's produces enormous volumes of educational video content — across K-12 curriculum subjects (Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, English), competitive exam preparation (JEE, NEET, CAT, UPSC), and skill learning programs. Byju's video content is the core product — highly animated, engagingly produced instructional video that brings complex concepts to life visually for millions of students across India. Freelance Video Editors work across Byju's content production pipeline — editing teacher lecture recordings, integrating animated explainers, producing marketing promotional content, and creating social media video that demonstrates Byju's learning methodology for parents and students.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit instructional video content — teacher lecture recordings integrated with animated explainer sequences for Byju's K-12 and competitive exam content
• Create animated concept explainers using After Effects — mathematical concept animations, scientific process visualizations, and historical timeline graphics
• Produce Byju's marketing video content — app promotional films, parent testimonial edits, and learning outcome success stories
• Edit social media educational content for Byju's Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook channels — short-form concept explainer clips
• Build interactive video overlay elements — quiz integration, chapter navigation markers, and interactive concept checkpoints
• Produce multi-language content variants — Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Bengali language instructional video

Requirements & Skills

• Degree or diploma in Media Production, Animation, or Education Technology — 2024/2025 batch
• Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects proficiency
• 2D animation skills for concept explainer content — mathematical diagrams, scientific process animations, and concept visualization
• Interest in educational content production and learning design
• High-volume production capability — Byju's content output is among the highest in India's media production sector
• Portfolio demonstrating educational, instructional, or animated explainer video content
