About This Role

VML India (formerly Wunderman Thompson India) — part of WPP's global creative commerce network — is hiring fresh graduates as Freelance Video Editors within its digital content production teams. You will produce digital-first video content for VML's commerce, CRM, and brand campaign work across VML's India client portfolio including Ford, Nestlé, Unilever, and HSBC.

Job Overview

Role Context

VML India (the merger of Wunderman Thompson and VMLY&R) is WPP's global creative commerce network — producing advertising, digital, CRM, and e-commerce content for global and India brands. VML India's digital production team produces significant volumes of video content across social media, e-commerce, email marketing, and digital advertising platforms. Freelance Video Editors support this high-output digital content pipeline — editing social media video, animated digital banners, e-commerce product content, and brand campaign digital assets across multiple client accounts simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit social media video content for VML's India client brands — Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter/X video campaigns
• Create animated digital advertising content — HTML5 banner videos, in-app video ads, and programmatic video assets using After Effects
• Produce e-commerce video content — product demonstration videos, comparison edits, and lifestyle content for brand client product pages
• Edit CRM and email marketing video content — personalized video messaging, loyalty programme communications, and seasonal campaign video
• Develop motion graphic assets — animated infographics, data visualizations, and product feature callouts for digital content
• Manage multi-format delivery across platforms and devices — mobile, tablet, and desktop video specifications

Requirements & Skills

• Degree or diploma in Media Production, Graphic Design, or Animation — 2024/2025 batch
• Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects proficiency
• Understanding of digital advertising video formats — pre-roll, mid-roll, native video, and social media specs
• High-volume production efficiency — VML's digital content output requires speed alongside quality
• Good motion graphics sensibility for animated banner and display video content
• Portfolio demonstrating digital advertising or social media video editing
