Job Description

Junior Architect (New Grad) – LMN Architects

LMN Architects is a Seattle-based architecture firm with 200+ professionals specializing in performing arts, civic, convention, transit, and higher education architecture — designing buildings that catalyze community life and cultural vitality. LMN's portfolio includes the Seattle Convention Center Summit addition, Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts (Wisconsin), and Sound Transit's Northgate Link light rail stations. LMN is recognized nationally for its leadership in transit-oriented design, performing arts acoustics, and convention center planning — bringing rigorous programming, user experience research, and technical excellence to every project. We are hiring New Grad Junior Architects in Seattle.

  • Develop architectural design for LMN's performing arts centers, convention facilities, transit stations, and civic buildings at all project phases
  • Produce Revit architectural models and construction documents meeting LMN's standards for technical quality and coordination
  • Apply performing arts acoustics and theatre planning principles — working with LMN's specialist consultants on stage house design, audience chamber geometry, and acoustic treatment
  • Support transit and convention center programming — developing space planning analyses, circulation diagrams, and capacity studies
  • Create visualizations and public engagement materials for LMN's civic and community projects — including public review presentations and design narrative documents
  • Conduct sustainable design research and apply carbon footprint analysis to LMN's high-performance building projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's of Architecture from an NAAB-accredited program
  • Revit and AutoCAD proficiency
  • Interest in civic, performing arts, transit, or convention architecture
  • Strong graphic design and public communication skills for civic engagement
  • Acoustics coursework, theatre design experience, or transit facility interest is a strong plus

Benefits

  • Competitive Seattle salary with LMN annual bonus
  • ARE reimbursement and dedicated mentorship program
  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits
  • 401(k) with LMN contribution
  • Seattle studio with hybrid flexibility and LMN's collaborative, research-driven design culture
