Junior Architect – New Grad – KPF (Kohn Pedersen Fox)

We are hiring New Grad Junior Architects at KPF's New York headquarters.
Responsibilities
- Develop architectural design for KPF's high-rise, mixed-use, and civic projects — contributing to design from competition concepts through construction administration
- Build detailed Revit architectural models for complex tower typologies — curtain wall systems, structural core coordination, floor plate optimization, and mechanical floor integration
- Create parametric facade and massing studies in Rhino/Grasshopper exploring design alternatives for KPF's supertall and complex-geometry projects
- Produce high-quality design renderings and visual communication packages for international client and planning authority presentations
- Coordinate architectural design with structural engineers, facade engineers, MEP consultants, and code consultants on KPF's complex multi-disciplinary project teams
- Support KPF's international design competitions — developing concept designs, competition drawings, and design narratives for global project opportunities
Requirements
- Master's of Architecture preferred from a leading NAAB-accredited program
- Revit proficiency and strong Rhino/Grasshopper parametric design skills
- Exceptional design portfolio demonstrating creativity, technical ability, and large-scale building design aptitude
- Interest in high-rise, mixed-use, or complex urban building typologies
- Strong graphic design and visual communication skills for international design presentations
