Junior Architect – New Grad – Perkins Eastman

Perkins Eastman's New York studio leads the firm's landmark projects including major urban mixed-use developments, academic buildings, and innovative senior living communities. We are hiring New Grad Junior Architects in New York City to contribute to Perkins Eastman's nationally recognized design work.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to design development and construction documentation for Perkins Eastman projects across senior living, healthcare, education, and mixed-use typologies
- Produce Revit architectural models and drawing packages — floor plans, elevations, sections, interior details, and exterior envelope assemblies
- Create design visualizations and presentation graphics using SketchUp, Enscape, Photoshop, and InDesign for client and community engagement presentations
- Conduct building code research and life safety compliance analysis — applying IBC, NFPA 101, ADA, and state health facility codes to design solutions
- Coordinate with structural, MEP/FP, and interior design consultants to ensure integrated design solutions
- Support Perkins Eastman's post-occupancy evaluation research — documenting how completed projects perform for their occupants
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's of Architecture from an NAAB-accredited program
- Revit proficiency is required; parametric design tools (Dynamo, Grasshopper) are a plus
- Strong graphic and communication skills for design presentation
- Interest in socially-impactful architecture — senior living, healthcare, or affordable housing
- Commitment to ARE completion; Perkins Eastman provides full ARE support and reimbursement
