HKS is consistently ranked among the top 10 US architecture firms by revenue and is renowned for its collaborative, technology-forward design culture. We are hiring New Grad Junior Architects at our Dallas headquarters to join HKS's world-class design teams.

  • Create 3D design models and renderings using Rhino/Grasshopper, SketchUp, and Enscape for client presentations and design review
  • Coordinate architectural design with structural, MEP, civil, and specialty consultants using Revit coordination workflows
  • Research building materials, sustainable design strategies, and construction systems for HKS project specifications
  • Support building permit submissions and code compliance reviews including IBC, ADA, and NFPA fire codes
  • Assist in site visits documenting construction progress and responding to contractor RFIs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's of Architecture from an NAAB-accredited program (2024/2025 graduate)
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD for architectural documentation
  • 3D visualization skills — Rhino, SketchUp, Enscape, or Lumion
  • Strong design portfolio demonstrating spatial thinking, technical drawing ability, and graphic quality
  • ARE (Architect Registration Examination) enrollment is encouraged; HKS supports ARE completion
  • Interest in HKS's key sectors: healthcare, sports, hospitality, or corporate architecture

Benefits

  • Competitive salary with HKS annual bonus
  • HKS ARE reimbursement and paid study time for exam preparation
  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits
  • 401(k) with HKS matching
