About This Role

BDP (Building Design Partnership) — a global multi-disciplinary design and engineering practice — is hiring fresh architecture graduates as Junior Architects at its India studios. You will contribute to architectural design for healthcare, transport, education, workplace, and public building projects within BDP's integrated architecture and engineering project teams.

Role Context

BDP India's studios operate as an integrated part of BDP's global design network, collaborating with teams in the UK, Ireland, and the Netherlands on cross-border healthcare, transport, and education projects. Junior Architects join multi-disciplinary teams where architecture, structural engineering, and building services are developed together — giving freshers broad technical exposure to integrated building design across complex project typologies. BDP's specialization in healthcare, transport infrastructure, and education architecture provides distinctive expertise in building types where human performance, operational requirements, and regulatory compliance are central architectural design drivers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs from concept through construction documentation in Revit and AutoCAD
• Prepare architectural drawings — floor plans, sections, elevations, wall assemblies, roof plans, and construction details
• Assist in preparing functional briefs, room data sheets, and design specification documents for healthcare and education projects
• Coordinate architectural design with structural, MEP, and specialist engineering disciplines via BIM
• Prepare statutory approval drawings, planning submissions, and building code compliance documentation
• Support BREEAM, LEED, or WELL documentation for building performance and sustainability criteria
• Attend coordination meetings and site visits; prepare minutes and track design action items

Requirements & Skills

• B.Arch — 2024/2025 batch
• Revit proficiency is required; AutoCAD is essential
• SketchUp or Lumion for visualization; Adobe Creative Suite for presentation work
• Interest in healthcare, education, or transport building typologies
• Understanding of NBC 2016, NABH standards, and building code compliance requirements
• Portfolio demonstrating technical drawing quality alongside design concept development
