You will work on architectural design for commercial, healthcare, and public building projects within Ramboll's integrated building design teams, where sustainability is embedded at the earliest stages of every design decision.

Role Context

Ramboll India's building design studio integrates architecture, MEP engineering, and sustainability consulting within unified project teams — reflecting the firm's Scandinavian heritage of sustainable, human-centred building design. Architecture Trainees are embedded in live projects from Day 1 — working on concept development, building performance analysis, and construction documentation alongside engineers and sustainability consultants. Ramboll's commitment to carbon neutrality and biophilic design gives freshers deep exposure to sustainable architecture as a genuine design driver rather than a compliance exercise — a distinctive career foundation in an industry increasingly driven by environmental performance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs from concept through construction documentation in Revit and AutoCAD
• Assist in environmental performance analysis — daylight studies, solar shading, natural ventilation, and building energy modelling
• Prepare statutory approval drawings, planning submissions, and building code compliance documentation
• Coordinate architectural design with MEP, structural, and sustainability engineering teams
• Research sustainable building materials, façade systems, and envelope performance strategies
• Support LEED, BREEAM, or WELL documentation for building envelope and indoor environment quality criteria
• Create 3D visualizations and design presentation materials for client design reviews

Requirements & Skills

• B.Arch — 2024/2025 batch
• Revit proficiency is required; AutoCAD is essential
• Genuine interest in sustainable architecture — energy, daylight, materials, and biophilic design
• Environmental simulation tools (Ladybug, Climate Consultant, or similar) are a bonus
• SketchUp or Lumion for visualization; Adobe Creative Suite for presentations
• Portfolio demonstrating sustainable design thinking and architectural quality
