About This Role

Microsoft India is hiring fresh architecture graduates as Facilities Architecture Coordinators within its Corporate Real Estate and Facilities (CREF) team. You will support the architectural planning, design, and project delivery of Microsoft's India office environments — contributing to Microsoft's commitment to hybrid work, accessibility, sustainability, and employee wellbeing across its India campus portfolio.

Job Overview

Role Context

Microsoft India's CREF team manages the physical work environment for thousands of Microsoft employees across multiple India campuses. Facilities Architecture Coordinators support the CREF design team in developing and delivering office architectural fit-out projects, building improvement initiatives, and new campus development — working with Microsoft's global design standards and its globally aligned approach to hybrid-first workplace architecture. You will interface regularly with Microsoft business units, external architecture consultants, MEP consultants, and construction teams to deliver campus environments that embody Microsoft's culture and technological identity.

Key Responsibilities

• Support architectural planning and design development for Microsoft India's campus buildings — office floors, amenity zones, collaboration spaces, and accessibility improvements
• Prepare architectural drawings in Revit and AutoCAD — space plans, floor layouts, sections, elevations, and building detail packages
• Review external architecture consultant submissions against Microsoft's global workplace design standards
• Assist in capacity planning — translating business unit headcount and hybrid work models into spatial planning scenarios
• Coordinate architectural design with MEP, structural, IT/AV, and smart building technology consultants
• Support statutory approval management — building permit applications and NBC 2016 compliance documentation
• Maintain Microsoft India's campus architectural documentation — drawing registers, design standards, and project records

Requirements & Skills

• B.Arch — 2024/2025 batch
• Revit and/or AutoCAD proficiency; space planning ability
• Good English communication skills — written and verbal for multi-stakeholder corporate environments
• Organized and analytical — comfortable working within structured corporate project delivery processes
• Understanding of hybrid workplace architecture, accessibility standards, and NBC 2016 requirements
• Portfolio demonstrating commercial or workplace architectural design capability
