Google India is hiring fresh architecture graduates as Campus Planning & Architecture Associates within its Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) team. You will contribute to the planning, design, and development of Google's iconic India campus environments — spaces globally recognized for combining functional performance, design innovation, and employee wellbeing at the highest standard.

Job Overview

Role Context

Google's REWS team in India manages some of the most design-forward corporate campus environments in the country — spanning millions of square feet across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Gurugram. Campus Planning & Architecture Associates work within REWS's design team, contributing to master planning studies, building design briefs, space capacity planning, and new campus development projects alongside external architecture and engineering consultants. Google's planning and design approach is human-centred, data-informed, and deeply collaborative — meaning you will work closely with Googlers (end users) to understand how they work and plan campus environments that support flexible, creative, and sustainable ways of working.

Key Responsibilities

• Support campus master planning and capacity studies for Google's India campuses — developing test-fit analyses, space utilisation models, and growth planning scenarios
• Prepare architectural briefs, design scope documents, and design review presentations for external consultants
• Review and provide design feedback on consultant architectural drawings, 3D models, and specifications
• Coordinate design delivery across project managers, external architects, consultants, and Google internal stakeholders
• Assist in sustainability planning — targeting LEED Platinum and WELL certification for new campus buildings
• Support post-occupancy evaluations and space utilization studies to inform future campus design decisions
• Maintain Google's campus design standards documentation and architectural precedent library

Requirements & Skills

• B.Arch — 2024/2025 batch
• Revit and/or AutoCAD proficiency; space planning and test-fit ability
• Data-curious mindset — interest in how occupancy analytics and user research inform architectural planning decisions
• Strong design sensibility for campus environments and workplace architecture
• Excellent English communication skills for cross-functional stakeholder engagement
• Portfolio demonstrating architectural planning ability, design quality, and graphic communication
