About This Role

Job Overview

Role Context

Tata Projects' Buildings business delivers large-scale construction projects across commercial, healthcare, education, transportation, and government sectors — including the new Parliament of India, multiple airport terminals, and metro system stations. Junior Architects work within multi-disciplinary project delivery teams at Tata Projects' project sites and regional offices — gaining construction-phase architectural expertise across some of the country's most nationally significant and visible building projects. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review architectural drawings for construction — site plans, floor plans, sections, elevations, and façade detail packages in AutoCAD
• Coordinate architectural requirements with structural, civil, and MEP engineering teams during project execution
• Review and evaluate contractor shop drawings for architectural and façade packages
• Prepare material specifications, BOQs, and procurement documentation for architectural construction packages
• Conduct site inspections — review construction quality and issue non-conformance reports
• Assist in statutory compliance management — ensuring construction aligns with approved permits and NBC 2016
• Support preparation of as-built architectural drawings and project handover documentation

Requirements & Skills

• B.Arch — 2024/2025 batch
• AutoCAD proficiency is essential; Revit knowledge is preferred
• Understanding of building construction — structural systems, building envelope, MEP integration, and finishing trades
• Knowledge of NBC 2016, fire safety norms, and accessibility requirements
• Site-readiness and comfort working in active construction environments
• Good communication skills for large multi-disciplinary project team environments
