About This Role

L&T Construction — a flagship division of Larsen & Toubro, India's largest engineering and construction conglomerate — is hiring fresh architecture graduates as Graduate Engineer Trainees (Architecture) within its Buildings & Factories business. You will work on architectural design and construction delivery for large-scale commercial, institutional, healthcare, and government building projects across India — some of the most significant and complex buildings being built in the country.

Role Context

L&T Construction's Buildings & Factories vertical delivers large-scale building projects across commercial offices, hospitals, educational institutions, airports, data centers, and government complexes. Architecture Graduate Engineer Trainees join project delivery teams — working alongside civil, structural, and MEP engineers on construction-phase architectural execution. L&T's scale, technical rigor, and project breadth give freshers rapid exposure to design-to-construction workflows on some of India's most significant and nationally visible building projects — from AIIMS hospitals to airport terminals and smart city developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review architectural drawings for construction — site plans, floor plans, sections, elevations, façade details, and roof drawings in AutoCAD and Revit
• Coordinate architectural requirements with civil, structural, and MEP engineering teams during project delivery
• Review and evaluate contractor shop drawings for architectural packages — façade cladding, curtain walls, roofing, joinery, and openings
• Prepare material specifications, BOQs, and procurement documentation for architectural packages
• Conduct site inspections — review construction quality, raise non-conformance reports, and track resolution
• Assist in statutory compliance — ensuring construction work aligns with approved building permits and NBC 2016 requirements
• Support preparation of as-built architectural documentation at project handover

Requirements & Skills

• B.Arch — 2024/2025 batch (Council of Architecture registration in progress)
• AutoCAD proficiency is essential; Revit knowledge is preferred
• Understanding of building construction — structural systems, envelope systems, MEP integration, and finishing trades
• Knowledge of NBC 2016, fire safety norms, and local municipal building bylaws
• Site-readiness — comfortable working in active construction environments across project sites
• Good communication skills for multi-disciplinary engineering team environments
