Graduate Architect – Project Management

About This Role

JLL (Jones Lang LaSalle) — a global commercial real estate and investment management company — is hiring fresh architecture graduates as Graduate Architects (Project Management) within its Project & Development Services (PDS) practice in India. You will design and manage the delivery of corporate office fit-outs, building refurbishments, and new construction projects for JLL's corporate clients across India's business districts.

Job Overview

Role Context

JLL India's PDS team operates at the intersection of real estate advisory and architectural design delivery — advising corporate clients on workplace strategy while executing the physical design and construction delivery of their offices. Graduate Architects sit within client-facing project teams — working on live architectural briefs from technology companies, banks, and professional services firms occupying 20,000–200,000 sq ft office floors across India. The role provides an unusually complete view of the architectural delivery process — from space planning brief to construction handover — within a single engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural and space planning designs for corporate office projects in Revit and AutoCAD
• Prepare architectural drawings — test-fit layouts, floor plans, sections, elevations, and construction detail packages
• Coordinate architectural design with MEP, structural, IT/AV, and specialist consulting disciplines
• Assist in preparing design briefs, programme documents, and statutory approval submissions
• Support BOQ preparation, material specification, and procurement advisory for construction contracts
• Conduct site reviews during construction delivery — review quality, manage RFIs, and track snag resolution
• Maintain drawing registers, design decision logs, and project status documentation

Requirements & Skills

• B.Arch — 2024/2025 batch
• Revit and AutoCAD proficiency; space planning ability is highly valued
• 3D visualization — SketchUp or Lumion; Adobe Creative Suite for presentations
• Good understanding of NBC 2016, fire egress, and accessibility norms for commercial buildings
• Good English communication skills for client-facing project environments
• Portfolio demonstrating commercial or workplace architectural design projects
