You will work on architectural design across healthcare, science & technology, transportation, and civic building projects within HDR's integrated multi-disciplinary teams — contributing to HDR's mission of improving quality of life through built environment design.

Job Overview

Role Context

HDR India's architecture practice specializes in healthcare, science & technology, transportation, and civic building design — project typologies where evidence-based design, functional precision, and user experience research are as important as architectural form. Architecture Graduates join multi-disciplinary teams working on hospital master plans, research laboratory buildings, transportation terminals, and government facilities — gaining deep typological expertise in complex building briefs that require rigorous functional planning alongside architectural design quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural drawings in Revit and AutoCAD — floor plans, sections, elevations, room layouts, and construction details
• Assist in evidence-based design development — analysing post-occupancy studies, functional briefs, and operational workflow data
• Prepare room data sheets, adjacency matrices, and functional planning documentation for healthcare and laboratory projects
• Coordinate architectural design with structural, MEP, medical equipment, and specialist engineering disciplines
• Create 3D visualizations and design presentation packages for client and stakeholder reviews
• Support LEED, WELL, or GRIHA documentation for building performance and occupant wellbeing criteria
• Assist in statutory approval submissions and building code compliance documentation

Requirements & Skills

• B.Arch — 2024/2025 batch
• Revit proficiency is required; AutoCAD is essential
• 3D visualization — SketchUp or Lumion; Adobe Creative Suite for presentations
• Genuine interest in healthcare, research laboratory, or civic building typologies
• Understanding of NBC 2016, NABH hospital design standards, and accessibility requirements
• Portfolio demonstrating functional planning ability alongside architectural design quality
