About This Role

Aurecon — an engineering, design, and advisory company — is hiring fresh architecture graduates as Graduate Architects within its Buildings practice in India. You will work on architecture for commercial, industrial, transport, and healthcare building projects within Aurecon's integrated multi-disciplinary engineering design teams.

Role Context

Aurecon India's Buildings practice operates within a global engineering and design network spanning Africa, Asia, and Australia. Graduate Architects work within multi-disciplinary project teams where architecture is developed alongside structural, MEP, acoustic, and façade engineering — gaining technical depth in how engineering disciplines constrain and enable architectural decisions. Project typologies include commercial offices, data centers, transport terminals, industrial facilities, and healthcare buildings — all technically complex environments where architecture must satisfy demanding functional requirements alongside aesthetic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural drawings from concept through construction documentation in Revit and AutoCAD
• Contribute to BIM-coordinated design development within multi-disciplinary integrated models
• Prepare statutory approval drawings, planning submissions, and code compliance documentation
• Coordinate architectural design with structural, MEP, acoustic, and façade engineering disciplines
• Produce 3D visualizations and design presentation materials for client reviews
• Support LEED, BREEAM, or WELL documentation for building envelope performance criteria
• Attend design coordination meetings and site visits; prepare minutes and track action items

Requirements & Skills

• B.Arch — 2024/2025 batch
• Revit proficiency is required; AutoCAD is essential
• 3D visualization — SketchUp, Lumion, or Rhino; Adobe Creative Suite for presentations
• Curiosity about building engineering and how building systems affect architectural decisions
• Understanding of NBC 2016, green building principles, and sustainable design
• Portfolio demonstrating technical drawing quality and design concept ability across project scales
