You will work on architecture for critical facilities, government buildings, defence infrastructure, transit hubs, and commercial developments within Jacobs' large-scale multi-disciplinary engineering project delivery environment.

Role Context

Jacobs India's building design practice works on complex, large-scale projects where architecture is embedded within technical project delivery frameworks — including government, defence, aviation, data centers, and transit infrastructure. Graduate Architects join multi-disciplinary teams working across architecture, structural, and MEP engineering within integrated BIM environments. Exposure to technically complex, security-sensitive project types provides a distinctive career start for freshers who want depth in building performance and technical coordination alongside design development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural drawings in Revit and AutoCAD — plans, sections, elevations, wall assemblies, and detailed coordination drawings
• Contribute to BIM-coordinated design development within multi-disciplinary Revit models
• Assist in preparing design development reports, specification documents, and room data sheets for complex project types
• Coordinate architectural design with structural, MEP, civil, and specialist engineering disciplines
• Prepare statutory approval drawings, planning submissions, and building code compliance documentation
• Support construction administration — RFI responses, shop drawing reviews, and site quality inspections
• Maintain drawing registers, design trackers, and project documentation records

Requirements & Skills

• B.Arch — 2024/2025 batch
• Revit proficiency is required; AutoCAD is essential
• 3D visualization — SketchUp, Rhino, or Lumion
• Understanding of NBC 2016, fire egress, accessibility standards, and building code compliance
• Comfort working within large, process-driven engineering project delivery organizations
• Portfolio demonstrating technical drawing quality and design ability across complex building types
