You will work on architectural design for healthcare, education, workplace, and community building projects within Stantec's integrated multi-disciplinary project teams.

Role Context

Stantec India operates as a fully integrated member of Stantec's global design network, with Indian studios collaborating with teams in North America, the UK, and Australia on cross-border healthcare, education, and community building projects. Junior Architects join multi-disciplinary teams where architecture, MEP engineering, and environmental consulting work in parallel. Stantec's strong specialization in healthcare and education architecture means freshers develop deep technical knowledge of room data sheet requirements, infection control design, and evidence-based planning — expertise highly valued across India's rapidly growing hospital and university construction market.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs from concept through construction documentation in Revit and AutoCAD
• Prepare architectural drawings — floor plans, sections, elevations, roof plans, and wall assemblies
• Assist in developing room data sheets, functional briefs, and room layout drawings for healthcare and education projects
• Coordinate architectural design with structural, MEP, and specialist engineering disciplines via BIM
• Assist in LEED, WELL, or Green Star documentation for building envelope and material performance
• Prepare statutory approval drawings, planning submissions, and building permit applications
• Support construction administration — site visits, RFI responses, and contractor drawing reviews

Requirements & Skills

• B.Arch — 2024/2025 batch
• Revit proficiency is required; AutoCAD is essential
• SketchUp or Lumion for visualization; Adobe Creative Suite for presentations
• Understanding of NBC 2016, fire safety regulations, and accessibility requirements
• Interest in healthcare or education architecture typologies
• Portfolio demonstrating technical drawing quality alongside design concept development
