You will work within multi-disciplinary building design teams where architecture is developed in genuine integration with structural, MEP, acoustic, façade, and environmental engineering from the earliest design stages.

Role Context

Arup India's building design practice integrates architecture, structural engineering, MEP services, acoustics, and façade engineering within unified project teams — meaning Architecture Graduates work alongside engineers daily, developing an integrated understanding of building design that is exceptionally rare to find in pure architecture studios. Projects span cultural institutions, corporate headquarters, healthcare facilities, transport hubs, and education campuses — developed with Arup's characteristic emphasis on technical innovation, sustainability, and design quality as equal partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural schemes from concept through construction documentation in Revit and Rhino
• Contribute to BIM-coordinated design development within multi-disciplinary integrated models
• Explore computational and parametric design approaches using Rhino and Grasshopper for complex geometry and façade optimization
• Coordinate architectural design with structural, MEP, acoustic, façade, and environmental engineering disciplines
• Prepare environmental performance analyses — daylight studies, solar shading, and natural ventilation assessments
• Assist in LEED, WELL, or GRIHA documentation for building envelope and material performance criteria
• Attend design coordination meetings and site visits; prepare minutes and track action items

Requirements & Skills

• B.Arch — 2024/2025 batch
• Revit proficiency is required; Rhino + Grasshopper is a strong advantage
• Environmental simulation tools (Ladybug, Honeybee, or similar) are a bonus
• 3D visualization — Lumion, Enscape, or V-Ray; Adobe Creative Suite for presentations
• Understanding of sustainable design principles — daylight, energy, materials, and wellbeing
• Portfolio demonstrating architectural thinking, technical rigour, and design innovation
