About This Role

WSP — a global engineering and professional services firm — is hiring fresh architecture graduates as Graduate Architects within its Buildings practice in India. You will work on architectural design and documentation for commercial, residential, healthcare, and infrastructure projects alongside WSP's structural, MEP, and environmental engineering disciplines.

Job Overview

Role Context

WSP India's Buildings team integrates architecture within a full engineering project delivery structure — meaning Graduate Architects work daily alongside structural, MEP, façade, and environmental engineers. This cross-discipline exposure is rare for freshers and accelerates technical understanding of how architectural decisions affect building performance, cost, and constructability. Projects range from corporate headquarters and hospitals to transit hubs, data centers, and luxury residential towers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural drawings in Revit and AutoCAD — plans, sections, elevations, wall assemblies, and detailed connection drawings
• Coordinate architectural design with structural, MEP, façade, and environmental engineering inputs via BIM
• Prepare and review statutory approval drawings, building permit documents, and planning submission packages
• Produce 3D visualizations and presentation materials using Revit, SketchUp, or Lumion
• Assist in IGBC/LEED documentation — energy performance, envelope compliance, and material sustainability criteria
• Support construction administration — site visits, RFI responses, and shop drawing reviews
• Maintain drawing registers, design trackers, and project documentation records

Requirements & Skills

• B.Arch — 2024/2025 batch
• Revit proficiency is required; AutoCAD is essential
• 3D visualization — SketchUp, Lumion, or 3ds Max
• Understanding of NBC 2016, fire safety norms, and building code compliance
• Awareness of green building rating systems (IGBC/LEED)
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in multi-disciplinary engineering teams
