About This Role

Arcadis — a global leader in design, engineering, and consultancy for natural and built assets — is hiring fresh architecture graduates as Junior Architects at its India offices. You will work on architectural design and technical consultancy for workplace, transport, water, and public building projects within Arcadis's Places and Mobility practices across India.

Job Overview

Role Context

Arcadis India's Places and Mobility teams deliver architectural design and technical consultancy across commercial, transport, water, and urban development project types. Junior Architects join client-facing delivery teams — working on design development, statutory submissions, and construction coordination across active projects in India's rapidly developing infrastructure and real estate markets. The hybrid model allows for both studio-based design development and regular client and site interaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural schemes from concept through construction documentation in Revit and AutoCAD
• Prepare statutory approval drawings, building permit applications, and code compliance documentation (NBC 2016, local bylaws)
• Coordinate architectural design with structural, MEP, civil, and landscape consultant disciplines
• Produce 3D models, rendered visualizations, and design presentation packages for client reviews
• Assist in preparing technical specifications, material schedules, and BOQ documentation
• Conduct site inspections during construction — review workmanship quality and respond to contractor RFIs
• Maintain drawing registers, design decision logs, and project documentation records

Requirements & Skills

• B.Arch — 2024/2025 batch
• Revit and AutoCAD proficiency
• 3D visualization — SketchUp, Lumion, or Rhino
• Understanding of statutory approval processes and building code compliance in India
• Good English communication skills for client-facing project environments
• Portfolio demonstrating architectural design quality across multiple typologies
