About This Role

AECOM — a Fortune 500 global infrastructure firm — is hiring fresh architecture graduates as Graduate Architects at its India design studios. You will work on architecture and master planning for large-scale infrastructure projects including airports, metro stations, government complexes, mixed-use developments, and corporate campuses across India.

Job Overview

Role Context

AECOM India's design studios are embedded within multi-disciplinary project delivery teams that handle projects from pre-feasibility through handover. Graduate Architects gain exposure to large-scale infrastructure architecture — a distinctly different scale from typical residential or boutique commercial practice. You will work daily with structural engineers, MEP consultants, and transportation planners on some of India's most significant infrastructure projects — airport terminals, metro stations, and smart city master plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural drawings in Revit and AutoCAD — floor plans, sections, elevations, façade details, and wall assemblies for infrastructure and commercial projects
• Assist in concept design, schematic design, and design development for large-scale public and commercial buildings
• Coordinate architectural design with structural, MEP, civil, and transportation engineering disciplines via BIM
• Create 3D visualizations and walkthroughs for client and statutory presentations using SketchUp or 3ds Max
• Assist in preparing statutory approval drawings and design review submissions
• Research and source materials compliant with project sustainability ratings (LEED, IGBC)
• Support construction administration — respond to RFIs and review contractor shop drawings

Requirements & Skills

• B.Arch — 2024/2025 batch
• Revit proficiency is required; AutoCAD knowledge is essential
• 3D visualization — SketchUp, 3ds Max, or Lumion
• Understanding of large-scale building design and infrastructure project delivery
• Familiarity with NBC 2016 and IGBC/LEED criteria
• Ability to work within large multi-disciplinary engineering-led project teams
