Perkins&Will — one of the world's most research-driven and sustainability-focused architecture and design firms — is hiring fresh architecture graduates as Design Associates (Architecture) at its India studios. You will contribute to evidence-based architectural design across workplace, higher education, science & technology, and healthcare project typologies in India and internationally.

Role Context

Perkins&Will India integrates with the firm's global studios on research-backed, sustainability-first architectural projects. Design Associates work within cross-disciplinary teams where architecture, interior design, and engineering are developed in parallel — exposing freshers to integrated building design from the earliest career stage. Perkins&Will's strong commitment to evidence-based design means you will engage with occupancy research, post-occupancy evaluations, and sustainability analysis alongside conventional design production work.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural design solutions from concept through construction documentation in Revit and AutoCAD
• Contribute to research-backed design development — analyzing precedents, occupancy data, and environmental performance studies
• Prepare architectural drawings — floor plans, sections, elevations, wall assemblies, and façade details
• Assist in sustainability documentation — LEED, WELL, or GRIHA criteria across material selection, energy performance, and building envelope
• Create 3D models, renderings, and presentation materials for design reviews and client presentations
• Coordinate architectural design with structural, MEP, and façade consultant disciplines
• Support statutory approval submissions and building code compliance documentation

Requirements & Skills

• B.Arch — 2024/2025 batch
• Revit proficiency is required; parametric design tools (Rhino + Grasshopper) are an advantage
• 3D visualization — SketchUp, Lumion, or Enscape; Adobe Creative Suite for presentations
• Understanding of sustainable design principles and green building rating systems
• Genuine curiosity for evidence-based design and architectural research
• Portfolio demonstrating sustainable design thinking, spatial reasoning, and technical drawing quality
