About This Role

Gensler — the world's largest architecture and design firm — is hiring fresh architecture graduates as Junior Architects at its India studios in Mumbai and Bengaluru. You will work alongside senior architects and designers on commercial, workplace, hospitality, mixed-use, and retail projects for global clients across India and the Asia-Pacific region.

Job Overview

Role Context

Gensler India's studios collaborate with the firm's 50+ global offices on large-scale commercial, workplace, and mixed-use projects. As a Junior Architect, you will be embedded in multi-disciplinary project teams — contributing to design development, construction documentation, and client presentations under the mentorship of senior architects and studio leaders. Projects span multinational corporate campuses, premium hospitality interiors, mixed-use developments, and high-end retail environments across India's Tier-1 cities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural design from schematic through design development phases using Revit, AutoCAD, and Rhino
• Prepare architectural drawings — plans, sections, elevations, and façade details for design development and construction documentation packages
• Contribute to design presentations — 3D visualizations, concept boards, and narrative documents for client reviews
• Coordinate architectural design with structural, MEP, and specialist consultant disciplines
• Research building materials, façade systems, and construction methodologies aligned to project typology and budget
• Assist in preparing statutory approval drawings, specifications, and building code compliance documentation
• Support site visits to review construction quality and respond to contractor RFIs

Requirements & Skills

• B.Arch — 2024/2025 batch (Council of Architecture registered or registration in progress)
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; Rhino and Grasshopper exposure is advantageous
• 3D visualization skills — SketchUp, 3ds Max, Lumion, or Enscape
• Strong design portfolio demonstrating architectural thinking, graphic quality, and technical drawing ability
• Good English communication skills for client-facing project environments
• Understanding of building codes, NBC 2016, and construction materials
