Role Context

Shapoorji Pallonji's construction business delivers premium residential, commercial, hospitality, and institutional projects across India and internationally. Interior Design Trainees join project delivery teams contributing to construction-phase interior design execution — gaining exposure to the interior design and fit-out of prestigious premium residential towers, corporate campuses, and institutional buildings. Shapoorji Pallonji's 160+ year legacy of craftsmanship means design quality and material standards are taken seriously at every level of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare interior design drawings for construction — floor plans, interior elevations, ceiling layouts, joinery details, and finish schedules in AutoCAD
• Develop material specifications, finish samples, and BOQ documentation for interior fit-out packages
• Coordinate interior design with civil, structural, and MEP engineering teams during project execution
• Review and evaluate contractor shop drawings for partition, ceiling, flooring, joinery, and cladding packages
• Conduct regular site inspections — review material installation quality and document non-conformances
• Assist in client design presentations and design review meetings during construction phases
• Support preparation of as-built interior drawings and handover documentation at project completion

Requirements & Skills

• B.Des (Interior Design) or B.Arch — 2024/2025 batch
• AutoCAD proficiency is required
• Strong understanding of interior construction — materials, systems, and detailing
• Site-readiness — comfortable working in active construction environments
• High standards for quality — Shapoorji Pallonji's reputation depends on material and craftsmanship excellence
• Portfolio demonstrating premium residential or commercial interior design projects
