About This Role

Hyatt India is hiring fresh design graduates as Junior Interior Designers within its Project Development team. You will support interior design review, renovation planning, and design coordination for Hyatt's portfolio of hotels across India — spanning brands including Park Hyatt, Grand Hyatt, Hyatt Regency, Hyatt Place, and Alila Resorts.

Job Overview

Role Context

Hyatt India's Project Development team coordinates the design review and approval process for hotel development and renovation projects across Hyatt's India portfolio — working with hotel owners and their appointed design consultants to ensure design proposals meet Hyatt's brand standards, operational requirements, and guest experience benchmarks. Junior Interior Designers support this team, contributing to design reviews, documentation, and the coordination of design information across Hyatt's Asia-Pacific design network based in Hong Kong.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing interior design drawings and specifications from hotel owner consultants against Hyatt's brand design standards
• Prepare design review feedback reports, approval documentation, and technical compliance letters for hotel owners
• Maintain Hyatt India's project design tracking database — drawing registers, review status logs, and correspondence records
• Coordinate design information between hotel owners, local design consultants, and Hyatt's Asia-Pacific design team
• Support renovation project planning — reviewing renovation scope proposals and preparing phasing recommendations
• Research and compile FF&E product and material information for Hyatt's India brand standard libraries
• Assist in pre-opening site inspections — review design implementation quality and prepare snag reports

Requirements & Skills

• B.Des (Interior Design) or B.Arch — 2024/2025 batch
• AutoCAD proficiency for drawing review and markup
• Strong visual design sensibility — particularly for luxury and upper-upscale hospitality environments
• Good English communication skills — written and verbal for owner and developer correspondence
• Detail-oriented and organized for managing multi-project design documentation
• Passion for hospitality, travel, and luxury interior design
