About This Role

Marriott International India is hiring fresh design graduates as Interior Design Associates within its Continent Design team. You will support the interior design review, renovation planning, and new-build coordination for Marriott's portfolio of over 160 hotels across India — spanning brands including JW Marriott, The Westin, Sheraton, Courtyard, Fairfield, and Moxy.

Job Overview

Role Context

Marriott International's Continent Design team in India reviews and approves interior design proposals from hotel owners and their design consultants — ensuring brand standards are maintained while supporting owners through new-build and renovation projects across Marriott's diverse brand portfolio. Interior Design Associates support senior design managers in review processes, design documentation, and project coordination — gaining exposure to hospitality interior design standards across multiple luxury and select-service hotel brands simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Review interior design proposals from hotel owner consultants for compliance with Marriott's brand design standards
• Assist in preparing design review comments, feedback reports, and design approval documentation
• Coordinate with hotel owners, design consultants, and Marriott's global design teams on design review and approval processes
• Maintain and update Marriott's India project design database — drawing registers, review status trackers, and project records
• Support renovation project planning — preparing renovation scope documents and phasing strategies
• Research and maintain material and FF&E product databases for Marriott's India brand standard libraries
• Assist in preparing brand design guidelines updates and training materials for hotel teams

Requirements & Skills

• B.Des (Interior Design) or B.Arch — 2024/2025 batch with hospitality design interest
• AutoCAD proficiency for drawing review; Revit knowledge is an advantage
• Strong visual design sensibility — understanding of hospitality interior aesthetics and brand expression
• Good English communication skills — written and verbal, for owner and consultant correspondence
• Organized and detail-oriented — comfortable managing large volumes of design documentation
• Passion for the hospitality industry and hotel design
