About This Role

IBM India is hiring fresh design graduates as Workplace Interior Designers (Entry Level) within its Global Real Estate team. You will support the design, planning, and delivery of IBM's India workplace environments — contributing to IBM's ongoing transformation of its India offices into hybrid-first, innovation-centric workspaces aligned with IBM's global Design Thinking philosophy.

Job Overview

Role Context

IBM India's Global Real Estate team manages a large portfolio of office environments across Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Pune — housing tens of thousands of IBMers across technology, consulting, and research functions. The team is undergoing a significant workplace transformation, redesigning IBM's India offices to support hybrid work, Design Thinking methodologies, agile teamwork, and client co-creation. Entry Level Interior Designers join this transformation program — supporting design development, project coordination, and delivery across multiple simultaneous projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Support interior design development for IBM's India office environments — hybrid workspaces, Design Thinking studios, client experience centers, and amenity areas
• Prepare design drawings in AutoCAD and Revit — floor plans, furniture layouts, interior elevations, and finish schedules
• Assist in preparing design briefs and scope documents for external design consultants
• Review consultant submissions against IBM's global workplace standards and hybrid work design guidelines
• Coordinate FF&E specification, procurement, and installation across active projects
• Support site delivery — review contractor installation quality and manage punch list resolution
• Maintain drawing registers, design decision records, and project status documentation

Requirements & Skills

• B.Des (Interior Design) or B.Arch — 2024/2025 batch
• AutoCAD proficiency; Revit experience is an advantage
• Interest in Design Thinking methodology and human-centred workplace design
• Good English communication skills for cross-functional stakeholder environments
• Organized, analytical, and comfortable working with data alongside design intuition
• Portfolio demonstrating commercial, workplace, or innovation space design capability
