About This Role

Microsoft India is hiring fresh design graduates as Facilities Interior Design Coordinators within its Corporate Real Estate and Facilities (CREF) team. You will support the design and project delivery of Microsoft's India office environments — spaces that reflect Microsoft's commitment to hybrid work, employee wellbeing, accessibility, and sustainability at its campuses across India.

Job Overview

Role Context

Microsoft India's CREF team manages the physical workplace experience for thousands of Microsoft employees across multiple India campuses. Interior Design Coordinators support the CREF design team in developing and delivering space fit-outs, reconfigurations, and campus improvement projects — working with Microsoft's design standards and its globally aligned approach to hybrid workplace design. You will interface regularly with Microsoft business units, external design consultants, and facility management teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Support interior design development for Microsoft India's campus spaces — focus rooms, collaboration zones, cafes, and amenity areas
• Review and provide feedback on design consultant drawings, specifications, and 3D models against Microsoft's workplace standards
• Coordinate design delivery with project managers, consultants, vendors, and internal Microsoft stakeholders
• Assist in space programming — translating business unit headcount and work mode data into spatial briefs
• Maintain Microsoft's India campus design documentation — drawing registers, standards updates, and project records
• Support FF&E procurement — sample review, approval tracking, and delivery coordination
• Conduct periodic space condition audits and post-occupancy reviews to inform design improvement priorities

Requirements & Skills

• B.Des (Interior Design) or B.Arch — 2024/2025 batch
• AutoCAD and/or Revit proficiency
• Strong communication skills — written and verbal English for multi-stakeholder corporate environments
• Organized and process-oriented — comfortable managing multiple simultaneous project workstreams
• Understanding of hybrid workplace design principles and accessibility standards
• Portfolio demonstrating workplace or commercial interior design capability
