BDP (Building Design Partnership) — a global multi-disciplinary design and engineering practice — is hiring fresh graduates as Interior Design Graduates at its India studios. You will contribute to interior design for healthcare, transport, education, workplace, and public building projects within BDP's integrated architecture and engineering project teams.

Role Context

BDP India's studios work as an integrated part of BDP's global design network, collaborating with teams in the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, and Poland on cross-border projects. Interior Design Graduates join multi-disciplinary teams where architecture, interior design, structural engineering, and building services are developed together. BDP's project portfolio spans healthcare, transport infrastructure, education, and workplace — giving freshers exposure to a diverse range of technically complex interior typologies early in their careers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop interior design schemes from concept through construction documentation in Revit and AutoCAD
  • Prepare interior elevations, finish schedules, FF&E documentation, and reflected ceiling plans
  • Assist in developing room data sheets and interior specifications for healthcare and education projects
  • Create 3D visualizations and concept presentations for design reviews
  • Coordinate interior design with architecture, structural, and MEP engineering teams within BIM environments
  • Support BREEAM, LEED, or WELL documentation for interior material and wellbeing credits
  • Attend design coordination meetings; prepare and distribute minutes and action trackers

Requirements & Skills

  • B.Des (Interior Design) or B.Arch — 2024/2025 batch
  • Revit proficiency preferred; AutoCAD is required
  • SketchUp or Lumion for visualization; Adobe Creative Suite for presentation work
  • Interest in healthcare, education, or transport interior typologies
  • Understanding of sustainability and occupant wellbeing criteria in interior design
  • Portfolio demonstrating technical drawing quality and design concept development
