You will work on luxury hotel interiors, resort design, and premium hospitality spaces for HBA's global portfolio of five-star and ultra-luxury hotel clients in India and the South Asia region.

Job Overview

Role Context

HBA India's studios work on some of the most prestigious hospitality interior design projects in South Asia — designing lobbies, guestrooms, suites, restaurants, spas, and banquet spaces for leading hotel operators including Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Hyatt, and independent luxury brands. Design Associates are embedded in project teams from concept stage, contributing to HBA's signature approach of crafting intensely atmospheric and culturally resonant hospitality interiors. The pace of work is demanding and the quality bar is high — but the exposure to luxury interior design is unparalleled at this career stage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop hospitality interior design concepts — guestrooms, lobbies, restaurants, spas, and public areas — from schematic through design development
• Produce interior construction drawings in AutoCAD — plans, elevations, sections, detailed millwork drawings, and finish schedules
• Create high-quality 3D renderings and presentation visuals using 3ds Max + V-Ray or Lumion
• Research and specify custom furniture, decorative lighting, bespoke millwork, art, and accessories — sourcing from domestic and international suppliers
• Prepare FF&E schedules, specification packages, and procurement documentation for hospitality projects
• Coordinate interior design with MEP, structural, and specialist FF&E procurement teams
• Attend site visits to review installation quality and ensure design intent is maintained through construction

Requirements & Skills

• B.Des (Interior Design) or B.Arch — 2024/2025 batch
• AutoCAD proficiency is essential; 3D rendering proficiency — 3ds Max + V-Ray or equivalent
• Strong design sensibility — particularly for luxury, atmosphere, and materiality
• Adobe Creative Suite at a high level of proficiency (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Portfolio demonstrating spatial atmosphere, material refinement, and custom detail design
• Passion for hospitality design — understanding of hotel operational flow and guest experience design
