Job Overview

Role Context

Callison RTKL India's studios work across retail, hospitality, mixed-use, and workplace typologies for leading Indian developers and international brands. Junior Interior Designers join project teams working on design-intensive commercial interiors — developing strong expertise in retail interior design, hospitality design, and experiential placemaking. CRTKL India collaborates extensively with the firm's global studios in the US, UK, and Middle East, offering freshers exposure to international design standards and project scales.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop interior design concepts, schematic designs, and design development drawings for retail, hospitality, and workplace projects
• Produce interior construction drawings in AutoCAD and Revit — floor plans, elevations, sections, joinery details, and finish schedules
• Create high-quality 3D visualizations, renderings, and animated walkthroughs using 3ds Max, V-Ray, or Lumion
• Design presentation packages — concept boards, mood boards, material palettes, and narrative documents for client reviews
• Research and specify furniture, fixtures, custom millwork, decorative lighting, and art/branding elements
• Coordinate interior design with MEP, structural, and specialist consultants within BIM environments
• Attend site visits during construction and installation phases — review quality and resolve design queries

Requirements & Skills

• B.Des (Interior Design) or B.Arch — 2024/2025 batch
• AutoCAD proficiency; Revit experience is preferred
• High-quality 3D rendering — 3ds Max + V-Ray, Lumion, or Enscape
• Adobe Creative Suite — Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign at a high level of proficiency
• Strong design sensibility — retail, hospitality, and experiential interior projects preferred in portfolio
• Attention to visual detail — material quality, lighting effects, and spatial atmosphere in presentations
