You will work on interior design for critical facilities, government buildings, defence infrastructure, transit hubs, and commercial developments delivered within Jacobs' large-scale multi-disciplinary project teams across India.

Role Context

Jacobs India's building design practice works on complex, large-scale projects where interior design is embedded within technical project delivery frameworks — including government, defence, aviation, and transit infrastructure. Design Graduates join multi-disciplinary teams working across architecture, interior design, structural, and MEP engineering within integrated BIM environments. This exposure to technically complex project types is distinctive for freshers seeking depth beyond typical commercial fit-out work.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop interior design drawings in AutoCAD and Revit — space plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, and detail packages
• Contribute to BIM-coordinated design development within multi-disciplinary Revit models
• Assist in preparing room data sheets, finish schedules, and FF&E documentation for complex project types
• Create 3D visualizations and presentation materials for design reviews
• Coordinate interior design inputs with architecture, structural, MEP, and specialist engineering disciplines
• Support sustainability and green building documentation — LEED, IGBC, or project-specific criteria
• Maintain drawing registers and attend design coordination meetings

Requirements & Skills

• B.Des (Interior Design) or B.Arch — 2024/2025 batch
• AutoCAD proficiency; Revit experience is preferred
• 3D visualization ability — SketchUp, Rhino, or Lumion
• Comfort working within large, process-driven engineering project teams
• Good understanding of construction documentation standards
• Awareness of accessibility, fire safety, and building code compliance for interiors
