About This Role

Savills — a global real estate services provider — is hiring fresh design graduates as Graduate Interior Designers within its Workplace Consultancy and Project Management practice in India. You will design and coordinate interior fit-out projects for corporate occupiers, developers, and institutional investors across India's prime commercial real estate markets.

Role Context

Savills India's Workplace Consultancy team helps multinational corporations plan, design, and deliver their India office environments. Graduate Interior Designers join client-facing project teams, developing design solutions from initial client briefings through construction administration. The breadth of project types — corporate headquarters, financial services offices, technology campuses — gives graduates exposure to multiple design scales and delivery approaches early in their career.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior designers in developing interior design concepts and space plans based on client briefs
• Produce interior design drawings in AutoCAD — floor plans, elevations, sections, and detail packages
• Create mood boards, finish palettes, and presentation materials for client design reviews
• Develop 3D visualizations and walkthroughs using SketchUp or Lumion
• Research and specify furniture, fixtures, and finishes aligned to project budgets and sustainability targets
• Coordinate design drawings with MEP, structural, and specialist consultants
• Support site inspections during fit-out construction — review installation quality and raise RFIs
• Maintain project documentation including drawing registers, submittal logs, and design decision records

Requirements & Skills

• B.Des (Interior Design) or B.Arch — 2024/2025 batch
• AutoCAD proficiency is essential
• 3D visualization — SketchUp, 3ds Max, or Lumion
• Adobe Creative Suite for presentation graphics
• Understanding of commercial interior construction and fit-out sequencing
• Good communication skills — written and verbal English for client-facing work
• Portfolio demonstrating spatial design ability and graphic quality
