Electrical Engineer – Entry Level – Northrop Grumman

Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and test electronic circuits and systems for defense and aerospace applications
- Develop hardware schematics, PCB layouts, and wiring diagrams using Cadence or Altium Designer
- Conduct SPICE simulations and design analyses (power, thermal, EMC) to validate hardware designs
- Support hardware integration and testing in laboratory and system test environments
- Prepare technical documentation including design descriptions, test plans, and engineering change proposals
- Collaborate with systems, software, and mechanical engineering teams in integrated product teams (IPTs)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (ABET-accredited program preferred)
- US citizenship required (position may require obtaining a DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance)
- Coursework in analog/digital circuits, signal processing, electromagnetics, and embedded systems
- Lab experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and basic electronic test equipment
- Strong GPA with demonstrated academic aptitude in electrical engineering disciplines
