Data Analyst – Industrial Operations – Honeywell
Honeywell is a Fortune 100 technology company that inventories the future by building world-class industrial software, aerospace systems, and performance materials across 100+ countries. Our Charlotte, NC campus is the home of our Industrial Analytics team, and we are hiring an entry-level Data Analyst to help our industrial clients extract insights from their operational data using Honeywell's connected building and factory platforms.
Responsibilities
- Analyze IoT sensor data, SCADA, and historian data from industrial facilities including refineries, airports, and smart buildings
- Build predictive maintenance models identifying equipment failure risk before costly unplanned downtime occurs
- Create operational efficiency dashboards tracking OEE, energy consumption, and production throughput for industrial clients
- Support Honeywell Forge platform analytics — helping clients understand their connected asset data
- Develop time-series analysis and anomaly detection algorithms for industrial process monitoring
- Collaborate with Honeywell field engineers, software developers, and client operations teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Chemical Engineering, or Computer Science
- Strong SQL and Python skills; experience with time-series data analysis is a plus
- Familiarity with IoT platforms, SCADA systems, or industrial historian software is highly desirable
- Ability to translate complex sensor and operational data into clear business insights
- Strong communication skills for working with industrial clients and operations engineers
