About This Role
Elephant Design — one of India's most respected design consultancies with 35+ years of brand and packaging design excellence — is hiring fresh design graduates as Junior Designers to join its interdisciplinary design studio in Pune, working on brand identity, packaging design, and communication design for India's leading FMCG, lifestyle, and industrial clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Design brand identity systems — logos, visual identity programs, brand guidelines, and identity application across touchpoints
- Develop packaging design for FMCG, food and beverage, and consumer products clients — structural, surface design, and retail shelf impact
- Create communication design — annual reports, brand collaterals, retail design, and environmental graphics
- Produce design concepts through ideation sketches, mood boards, and refined digital executions in Adobe Creative Suite
- Prepare presentation materials and design rationale documentation for client approvals
- Coordinate with print vendors, packaging suppliers, and production teams for design-to-production handoffs
Requirements & Skills
- B.Des/B.F.A./NID/NIFT graduate in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or Industrial Design — 2024/2025 batch
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
- Excellent drawing and ideation sketching skills for concept development
- Understanding of print production, packaging materials, and reproduction processes
- Portfolio demonstrating strong brand identity and packaging design work
- Ability to think strategically about brands, not just create beautiful aesthetics
