Online Tutor – Skooli
Skooli is a professional online tutoring platform that requires all tutors to be certified teachers or currently enrolled in a teaching degree, setting a high bar for quality instruction. This ensures every student gets a premium tutoring experience. We are recruiting Online Tutors who are certified (or certification-track) educators passionate about helping K-12 and college students succeed.
Responsibilities
- Deliver live, one-on-one tutoring sessions via Skooli's HD video classroom with interactive whiteboard
- Tutor students in Math, Science, English Language Arts, Foreign Languages, or test preparation
- Bring professional teaching methodology and differentiation strategies to each session
- Document session activity and student progress for parent and platform reporting
- Maintain a professional and nurturing online learning environment
- Be available during preferred hours — evenings and weekends are peak demand times
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or subject area, with state teaching certification or enrollment in a teacher prep program
- Minimum 1 year of classroom teaching or substantial private tutoring experience
- Valid teaching credential verification provided during onboarding
- Reliable computer, webcam, and high-speed internet connection
- Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills for diverse student populations
