Academic Support Tutor – Pearson Online Learning Services

Pearson Online Learning Services operates online tutoring support for universities and community colleges across the US. We are seeking skilled Academic Support Tutors to deliver writing, math, and general academic tutoring to college students through our integrated platform.
Responsibilities
- Provide live or asynchronous online tutoring in Writing, College Math, Statistics, Accounting, and general Sciences
- Help college students with essay writing, thesis development, citation formatting, and grammar review
- Guide students through quantitative coursework including algebra, calculus, and business statistics
- Submit written feedback on student work submissions within platform SLA timeframes
- Uphold academic integrity standards and refer academic dishonesty concerns per platform policy
- Participate in required quality assurance reviews and calibration sessions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree in a relevant field is a plus
- Strong academic writing and editing skills
- Proficiency in college-level math through at least Calculus I or Statistics
- Ability to provide clear, constructive written feedback quickly and accurately
- Available evenings and weekends to serve college students during peak study hours
