We are hiring Online Academic Tutors in Math, Science, English, Writing, and more to join our tutor workforce.
Responsibilities
- Provide live online homework help and tutoring to K-12 and adult learners via Brainfuse's virtual classroom
- Accept incoming tutor connection requests and guide students through homework problems
- Use Brainfuse's shared whiteboard, text editor, and math tools to illustrate explanations
- Help students understand how to solve problems step-by-step rather than providing direct answers
- Complete session evaluations and self-quality reviews as required
- Maintain quality and professionalism consistent with Brainfuse's library partner standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (completed) with strong academic background
- Subject proficiency in at least two of: Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Chemistry, Biology, English, or Writing
- Patient, helpful demeanor with ability to adapt to wide range of student ages and learning levels
- Reliable PC or Mac with stable internet connection and available evenings/weekends
- Clean background and professional online presence
